The Brand Film

Based on the brief, we brainstormed the core message and defined the right tone of voice: one that speaks directly to the audience and represents the brand authentically. Then we shaped it into a tightly-worded script using a storytelling approach: identifying the problem, and showing the solution.

We partnered with Razorpay to create a series of animations for FTX25, a fintech event hosted in Bangalore in 2025. The work formed part of a larger creative engagement focused on developing visual content for the main event stage.

The primary brief was to design product introductory videos for Razorpay’s newly launched offerings. These films needed to function as high-impact reveal moments within keynote presentations — capturing attention, building anticipation, and clearly communicating product value.

Razorpay’s visual direction emphasised a design language that felt:

• Sleek
• Minimal
• Visually impactful

The Solution

We developed a cohesive set of stage-ready motion pieces designed specifically for large-format display environments.

Our approach centred on:
• Bold, high-contrast compositions
• Clean, contemporary typography
• Precision-timed transitions
• A refined, modern motion system

Rather than overloading frames with complexity, the animations relied on clarity, rhythm, and visual confidence. Each product reveal was crafted to feel intentional, premium, and aligned with Razorpay’s brand sophistication.

Constraints

Designing for a live event stage introduced distinct creative and technical challenges:

• Visuals needed to read instantly at scale
• Messaging had to be understood within seconds
• Animations had to sync with keynote pacing
• Attention retention was critical in a live setting

Additionally:

• Tight production timelines
• Multiple product narratives
• Consistency across all reveal films

Decisions

To address these constraints, several key decisions shaped the execution:

1. Prioritising Clarity Over Ornamentation
We embraced minimalism to ensure instant comprehension and visual legibility from a distance.

2. Strong Framing & Visual Hierarchy
Each frame was designed to anchor audience attention through deliberate composition and contrast.

3. Controlled Motion & Rhythm
Transitions were engineered for impact without distraction — confident, precise, and purposeful.

4. Cohesive Motion Language
A unified motion system ensured all product films felt connected, reinforcing brand continuity.

Outcomes

The final animations became integral to Razorpay’s FTX25 stage experience, supporting keynote presentations and product launches.
